There is only one place to be on the first Sunday each December. Share the Spirit 2010 will take place on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Hospice. Pilgrims Hospice is thrilled to celebrate the holiday season with our friends, volunteers and those we serve.

Each year, we look forward to welcoming the community as we Share the Spirit. The luncheon, festival of wreaths, craft fair, cookie trot social gathering has become a seasonal highlight hosted by the Hospice’s board and staff each year.
The organizing committee works hard to ensure the day is memorable for all who attend. They encourage everyone with an interest in Hospice will come out and enjoy this festive day. They are want you to bring a friend along and introduce them to the Hospice comunity.
The Share the Spirit Open House is free to attend. The event is a drop-in running from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. It includes a variety of live entertainment, luncheon and the chance to catch up with some old friends and meet new people.
Past attendees are sure to arrive early to get the best selection at the yearly Cookie Trot which offers a spectacular array of home-made Christmas goodies for sale, courtesy of our many supporters. More than 300 dozen seasonal cookies of varying types are up for grabs.
Guests are also encouraged to Celebrate a Life by taking a moment to light a bulb on our tree of remembrance, either in the name of a departed or physically distant loved one.
Anyone who donates a wreath, cookies, squares and or small loaves is asked to register their donation by calling Melanie Russett at 780-413-9801 ext. 302 or email melanier@pilgrimshospice.ca , providing a count of how many dozen cookies they will bring.
Please ask about when the baked goods need to be delivered to the Hospice and ensure you use disposable containers and mark anything that contains nuts.
